Help Set a World Record to Kick Off Wine Down Main Street!

You’re invited to join the hundreds of women who will gather in downtown Franklin to set the World Record for “most women unscrewing bottles of wine simultaneously” – immediately preceding the opening of the Wine Down Main Street festival.

We’ve partnered with wine experts The Saucy Sisters to create this ladies-only event which will help raise needed funds for the Boys & Girls Club of Williamson County and will mark the launch of the sisters’ new book, The Saucy Sisters Guide to Wine – What Every Girl Should Know Before She Unscrews.  All participants will receive signed copies of the book.

The Official World Record Wine is Lonely Cow Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir.  Following the “unscrewing” and celebratory toast, the opened bottles will be distributed and poured throughout the festival.

Event Highlights:

  • “Unscrewers” will assemble at 5 p.m. at the Red House, 138 Third Avenue North – just  one block from the square in downtown Franklin.
  • “Unscrewing” ceremony will take place at 5:45.
  • Live music by The Wineauxs.
  • You don’t have to attend Wine Down Main Street in order to participate.  Tickets are sold separately and must be purchased in advance.
