Restaurants and Specialty Products Announced

FRANKLIN, Tenn.— Wine Down Main Street 10 event presented by Hallmark Volkswagen will be held Friday, November 5, 2010 from 7:00pm to 10:00pm.  The Downtown Franklin Merchants will again host thousands of consumers during the most unique wine tasting event in the area.

In addition to hundreds of wine selections available for tasting, approximately 20 area restaurants / food providers will be on hand to sample their delicious foods.  Participating restaurants / food providers include:

There will be a variety of other specialty products featured as well, including:

  • The “Cure” Royal – Korbel Sparkling Wine and Chambord Raspberry Liqeur – as part of the “Pink your Drink” campaign to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer will be featured at the Red House
  • Corsair Artisan Distillery – Nashville’s own distilled spirits including: Gin-Head Style Gin, Vanilla Bean Vodka, Red Absinthe, and Spiced Rum will be featured at Puckett’s Grocery
  • Beer – A selection of Seasonal Craft beer will be featured at the Red House
  • Cigars – Select premium cigars from CAO will be featured on 4th Ave. near Puckett’s Grocery

All proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Franklin / Williamson County and Fairview Boys & Girls Club. Since 2001, Wine Down Main Street has raised more than $840,000 for the Boys & Girls Club of Franklin/Williamson County and Fairview Boys & Girls Club.  Both Clubs are United Way agencies and members of The Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee.
